SUMMARY
Most developing nations have been found to exhibit rigorous legislation that prohibits women to practice safe and legal abortion. This has embedded this gender in a web of challenges, limitations, and injustices.
Religious beliefs and cultural norms are the core factors that embody the denial of safe abortion in most countries. Considering all the complexities surrounding abortion, it remains a challenging task to authorities in determining whether to preserve the rights of the unborn or safeguard the rights of women.
