SUMMARY The scarcity of women in CEO positions persists due to ingrained gender biases, lack of representation in leadership pipelines, and challenges in balancing work and family life. However, positive changes are underway as companies prioritize diversity and inclusion, implement mentorship programs, and adopt gender-neutral practices. To rise in their careers and reach leadership roles, women should invest in education, build strong networks, develop leadership skills, negotiate for fair compensation, and promote their achievements. Persistence and resilience are also vital in breaking the glass ceiling. Achieving gender parity in leadership will require collective efforts, but it promises a more diverse and inclusive corporate landscape.
