Recently, in the 52nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, the Brazilian Human Rights minister, Silvio Almeida, in a speech, talked about the importance of combating slave-like work in Brazil. In February, the country discovered a case of three famous national companies of wine, Aura, Salton, and Garibaldi, were involved in the use of slave-like work in their wineries in Bento Gonçalves, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This Brazilian case shed light on a further discussion: the massive exploration of work nowadays.
