The article tries to make a quick overview of the democratization process in Africa, trying to understand how internal variants of its concretization, in a world context of valorization of form and representative democracy. The vicissitudes that the transition process in Africa went through are seen both in its political, economic, cultural and social dimensions. The dynamics and dialectic of endogenous and exogenous relations with the African continent, its strong economic and financial dependence, explain the current situation of the continent and the design perspective for the future. The aspects that some countries have in their trajectory for the implementation of a democratic system denote a question of relations: economic, political, ethnic and others that make up the African political reality and condition the implementation of public policies and a plural political practice..
