Do We Manage Time or Manage Ourselves in Time?

Author:  Natnael Gelagay, Ethiopia

SUMMARY

We often hear phrases like "Manage your time" and "Time management skills," but is it accurate to say that we can truly manage time? Time, as a fundamental aspect of the universe, flows relentlessly and is beyond our control. This unchangeable nature of time presents an intriguing paradox: while we strive to manage it, what we are truly managing is ourselves within the framework of time. Time management is actually a form of self-management, involving the organization of our activities, prioritization of tasks, and making conscious decisions about how to spend our hours. This self-management is crucial for maximizing productivity, achieving goals, and maintaining balance in life despite the constant, impartial march of time.
