Summary

Russia is again forbidden from participating in the Olympic Games, which is not new since the country has been supposedly misaligned with the IOC (International Olympic Committee) principles since the Winter Games in Sochi, in 2014. Israel, on the contrary, has been in the international headlines for approximately eight months due to the Civil War once again triggered between Israel and Palestine and flew a delegation of 88 athletes to Paris.
