Ecuador is currently experiencing a period of historical violence. The Andean country finds itself situated amidst a fearful society, violent criminal organization, and politicians at risk of being assassinated. The upcoming election on August 20this anticipated to be marked by bloodshed, and unfortunately, there seems to be no means to prevent it. Institutionalized criminal groups are subjecting an inefficient political system to trial.
