It highlights how some politicians and segments of society are fueling xenophobia and discrimination against refugees and immigrants. The rise in refugee racism is attributed to economic anxieties and inflammatory rhetoric that exploits fear for political gain. The article underscores the harmful impact of such discrimination on the lives and rights of migrants and their families and how it can corrode social cohesion and promote inequality and exclusion. To address this concern, the article calls for fostering empathy, compassion, and understanding, while promoting a culture of inclusivity and acceptance to ensure safety and respect for everyone.
