Global warming affects everyone. It disproportionately affects vulnerable populations including those with disabilities, both physical and mental. More than one billion people, roughly 15% of the world’s population, live with disabilities. People with disabilities are more likely to be discriminated against in education, employment, housing, transportation, and access to healthcare.
