SUMMARY
For decades now, women have been empowered in various strategies with the aim to achieve more equal societies in different parts of the world. This move has mainly been triggered by the ancient cultural norms where men were more privileged than women. Consequently, over the years, this manifested into a significant gender disparity where men are generally superior and dominant both socially and economically. In some parts of the world, women are still not adequately empowered like men, and it is important to foster, advocate and ensure that women's rights are recognized equally. However, in some civil societies where women are continuously empowered sufficiently, there is a sense that during this process, the boy child is eventually left out and we might reach a point where girls will be more empowered than boys, resulting in a new gender inequality problem.
