Summary
Since 2020 there has been a war in the northernmost region of Ethiopia, Tigray. The fight sees the deployment of the TFPL, the popular front for the liberation of Tigrè, and the Ethiopian military forces, which are accused of human rights violations, torture and violence against the population of Tigray. Regardless of the torture that the inhabitants of Tigray suffer every day, another emergency arises around this situation: migrants and their lack of rights in expatriation and arrival in states such as Yemen and Saudi Arabia. In this article we analyse the state of the war, the lack of human rights respected for the population of Tigray and migrants who try to seek a better future in other neighbouring states.
