Human rights abuses against migrants are extremely common. The vulnerability of migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees leaves them open to this kind of abuse. This article examines the recent developments at the U.S.-Mexico border and how dehumanizing practices have been implemented. Specifically, it discusses the use of razor wire on buoys and how this has harmed people, including children.
