a presentation on illicit financial flows from Africa was made by Souad Aden-Osman. Returning to the 3 components of illicit financial flows (trade flows 60 to 65%, criminal flows 30 to 35% and corruption 3 to 5%), the researcher relied on the latest report of the Economic Commission for Africa estimating this shortfall of around 80 to 100 billion dollars per year for the continent. Faced with the constant evolution of this phenomenon, Souad Aden-Osman believes that it is the responsibility of all actors in society to invest in putting an end to it.
