There have been many recent events and acts of hatred against muslims. Islamophobia hate crimes have increased by 42% over the last year. Many muslims around the world have been affected by Islamophobic crimes. The anti-muslim ideology held in the west has threatened and suppressed the lives of many muslims. The English defence league, which is a racist organisation with nationalist values continues to spread hate towards the muslim communities. As Britain becomes more multicultural, minority groups have made a home in England but many of these minority groups are being targeted by organisations and individuals who are against multicultural Britain.
