The Russo-Ukraine war has had far-reaching effects on the geopolitical community, many of which we won't fully understand until the war ends. The war has pushed countries like Finland and Sweden to join NATO. It has revealed who talks the talk and walks the walk when it comes to standing up for the right to self-governance, democracy, and the current global order. Russia’s war of choice has united NATO like never before, and we will see the benefits of this closer and stronger cooperation in the future. However, it isn't all sunshine and roses. Terrible things are going on in Ukraine. Torture, claims of genocide, war crimes, the list goes on. One such thing is the kidnapping of Ukrainian children. Thousands of children in occupied territories in the east of Ukraine have been abducted and taken back to Russia in the name of “saving” them. This could not be further from the truth, revealing an aspect of Vladimir Putin's potential genocidal intentions in Ukraine.
