Hunger and violence are both increasing globally at a significant rate. Due to food systems being ever more interconnected and even homogenised the effects of both domestic and international conflict can have a seriously disruptive effect on food production and distribution. This in turn fuels greater conflict generating a dangerous self-perpetuating feedback loop.
