Nada Al-Ahdal, the activist who fled marriage at age 11 and fights for girls' rights around the world
She was lucky enough to escape her fate, but most girls forced into marriage in exchange for a dowry do not escape. In the world, a girl is forcibly married every twelve seconds. Their fate is horrible: slaves who end up asking for permission to be slaves and worship their tormentors, they accept the laws that annul them. Like Nada's mother.
