SUMMARY

Health Inequities are systematic differences in the health status of different population groups. This is not an issue limited to one single country or region; underdeveloped, developing, or developed, any country has health inequity in various degrees. Making it a global-scale issue that needs to be addressed. Health inequity results from social, economic, and environmental factors. The unequal distribution of power and resources is one of the main causes. Health inequity has a particularly negative impact on the personal health of disadvantaged groups. Various measures can be taken to reduce health inequity and promote better global health. Health inequity is a product of human behaviour, as is health equity. By addressing the root causes, societies can move towards a more equitable and just future.
