"The civil society of Beni in North Kivu supported by the leaders of citizen movements and pressure groups have initiated five (5) days of strike in the city of Beni to decry the growing insecurity in the city characterized by cases of incursions of armed bandits who kill, loot the property of the peaceful population but also require the Congolese authorities to lift the state of siege.
