Teenage pregnancy has been one of the major challenges facing our younger female generation in the Kenyan society despite all the technological advancements that come with major changes regarding our day to day lives. The Kenya Demographic and Health Survey 2022 indicated that teenage pregnancy rates declined to 15% in 2022 from 18% in 2014. Although this is a positive indication, but the fact that the problem still lives within us and affects the young girl child should be of great concern bearing in mind that the African girl child forms part of our greater society
