SUMMARY
The United States is facing a critical shortage of healthcare professionals, causing significant problems for the country's healthcare system. This shortage isn't just about numbers—it's affecting the quality of care, increasing stress on existing healthcare workers, and making it harder for people to access the medical help they need. Many areas, especially rural regions, struggle to attract and retain doctors, nurses, and other essential medical staff. This shortage often results in longer wait times, overworked professionals, and, in some cases, reduced access to vital health services. The complex nature of healthcare education, the aging workforce, and the increasing demand for healthcare services are all contributing to this growing crisis. Access full PDF:
