Summary
War in Sudan started almost two months ago. After the coup made by the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) the country fell in a dangerous situation for the population and also for all people living in Sudan. This, for Sudan, was the third coup in five years. The Rapid Support Forces, supported by janjawid forces, have ousted the power of the government, with the elections of 2021.
However, the war in Sudan and the military forces are just one side of the coin: the other one, is the continuous violation of human rights, against children, women and men. In fact, the war “is having a “devastating impact” on people's lives, health and well-being.” as said by the UN office of Human Rights.
In this article we investigate how human rights are violated, and in which cases lives are threatened by this situation.
