It's a major crisis putting people's lives at risk. Many individuals feel scared and worried about managing their diabetes without enough insulin. Certain families have to choose between buying insulin or paying for basic needs like food or rent. This is causing increased stress and anxiety in people with diabetes and their loved ones. Medical professionals like physicians and nurses are feeling frustrated because they frequently cannot help patients get the insulin they need.
