SUMMARY

In Africa, corruption has undoubtedly manifested into devastating effects, which has indirectly led to a significant number of deaths through the exacerbating of poverty, inequality and other socio and economic problems. Nonetheless, unlike the inhumane Nazi regime which supported the Holocaust genocide, and led to the systematic murder of 6 million Jews, corruption is gradual, persistent, unseen, and more deadly than the Nazi killing machine. From South Africa to Egypt, this essay highlights some of the top corruption stories and how they have burdened the African masses.
