On 8th June 2023, a frantic news hit the headlines after a 28 year old woman stabbed her husband several times before turning the knife to her two children stabbing them to death. The woman later tried to commit suicide after the act but she was rescued before dying. Preliminary investigations indicated that the couple were involved in a domestic dispute that led to the bizarre murders. The incident came five days after a father and his two sons were murdered in cold blood by unknown assailants in the same area, with an estranged wife in custody in connection with the killings.
