Summary:


Human trafficking has severe consequences for various human rights, affecting victims in many different ways.

One of these rights, as outlined in the UDHR is Article 3 which states that: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person (UN).

Traffickers use many modes of transport to their advantage and airports, which provide them with a quick and affordable option are their preferred choice. Human trafficking frequently remains unreported in airport environments, despite the security safeguards in place.

Why does this crime go unnoticed in places that are supposed to be secure and safe?
