Ensuring access to the highest standard of healthcare is a fundamental right that must be enjoyed by every individual, regardless of their socioeconomic status or any other barriers. Regrettably, this crucial aspect of healthcare seems to be neglected in Ethiopia, as the country faces challenges in establishing an inclusive health system with minimal health disparities throughout the nation.

In Ethiopia, the inadequate healthcare system presents on-going obstacles to accessing appropriate medical care. These challenges are closely intertwined with socioeconomic factors, including high levels of poverty and illiteracy, which further compound the issues at hand. In addition, the scarcity of healthcare facilities, a lack of resources for medical treatments, limited access to affordable medications, and a shortage of skilled healthcare professionals, all combined with inadequate government funding, significantly impact people's ability to obtain adequate healthcare services when they require them.

Moreover, the individuals who bear the brunt of these challenges are primarily those who are economically disadvantaged, further exacerbating the health disparities. It is vital for the government to confront these obstacles head-on and ensure equitable access to healthcare for all. Failure to do so will only result in numerous individuals enduring the immense suffering and hardship that arises from the lack of adequate medical care.
