Maui, Hawaii, is currently battling devastating wildfires that have forced thousands to flee their homes, caused power outages, and claimed several lives. It is unclear how long the fires will rage on for, but the community of Maui is staying hopeful, and have come together to ensure shelter for those who have been displaced. The fires have since spread to Lahaina, a popular tourist spot. This will have a large effect on tourism and local businesses. These fires remind of us the presence of climate change, and the monumental affect it has across all aspects of our lives.
