WHAT IS THE PROJECT “NUÔI EM – RAISING CHILDREN”?

Authors : Phạm Thị Khánh Linh

Hanoi, Vietnam

In 2014, Hoang Hoa Trung (A familiar young Vietnamese face in 2019) launched the "Nuôi em - Raising Children" project to call for sponsors to feed highland students for lunch with 8,5 thousand VND/per meal/child. However, the project's first four years were tricky; only some people cared. Since 2018, Trung has changed his thinking about how to be as transparent as possible. Each person raised one child in the high version.

Inspired by the stories of the leader of "Nuôi em - Raising children, at the end of the MV "Nấu ăn cho em - Cooking for you," Den said that he would donate the revenue from the views of this song from now on to building schools and raising children.

In parallel with the Raising Children Project, Trung also carried out a series of other projects such as Mountain Light, Solar Wind Energy, Coming Out of the Forest, Upland Bookcase, Old Toys for Preschoolers, and High Edition. All of them aim to escape poverty sustainably and improve the quality of people's knowledge and life for the upland people.

With outstanding contributions to volunteering, Hoang Hoa Trung won the National Volunteer Award in 2017; Forbes Vietnam voted as 30 Under 30 in 2020; The Faith Volunteer group won the National Volunteer Award for two years.
