No Poverty is Number 1 of the United Nations’ sustainable development goals. The United Nations (UN) has a number of initiatives in place to help achieve its goal of no poverty. These initiatives include:

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): The SDGs are a set of 17 goals that were adopted by the UN in 2015. Goal 1 is to end poverty in all its forms everywhere. The UN is working to achieve this goal through a number of initiatives, including investing in agriculture, promoting economic growth, and providing social safety nets.
