In November 2020, the peaceful streets of Uganda's capital, Kampala, turned into a battleground of fear, injustice, and sorrow. The denial of freedom of expression cast a dark shadow over the city, leaving its inhabitants shackled and powerless. These tragic events, now known as "Black November," not only took innocent lives, but they also shattered the hopes of a nation yearning for change. As we revisit those heart-wrenching days, we dare to evoke sorrow in our hearts urging us to stand up against such atrocities and demand a better future for all.
