SUMMARY


The fast-rising cost of living in Kenya has become a subject of contention in what many term as economic violence brought by the regime in power. Kenyans accuse their Government of imposing punitive taxes on them even when millions are still struggling to make ends meet.

On its side President William Ruto’s Government insists expansion of revenue base is the only way to salvage the nation from reckless external borrowing.
