Summary

Social inequality, political instability, economic disparities, inadequate legal frameworks, and harmful cultural practices are key factors contributing to the denial of the right to life. Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or socioeconomic status leads to marginalized groups being disproportionately affected by violence and inadequate access to healthcare. Political unrest and conflict result in widespread loss of life, while economic disparities and lack of resources lead to preventable deaths. Inadequate legal frameworks and weak enforcement mechanisms contribute to impunity for perpetrators of violence. Harmful cultural practices, such as honour killings and child marriage, directly violate individuals' right to life.
