The ocean is Earth’s largest ecosystem, covering over 70% of the planet's surface. It is home to an incredible diversity of life, from the smallest microorganisms to large fish. The ocean plays a vital role in regulating the Earth's climate, providing food and jobs for billions of people, and supporting a wide range of industries.
However, the ocean is under increasing threat from human activities. Overfishing, pollution, and climate change are all taking a toll on marine ecosystems. If we do not take action to conserve the oceans, we risk losing many of the benefits they provide.
